Weeroona is entering a new era of growth, innovation and opportunity. We're moving from a traditional service model into a diversified group, and we're creating the role of Group Chief Executive Officer to lead that pivot.

This role calls for a highly experienced, commercially astute strategic leader, someone who has run at genuine scale, who is energised by building new capability rather than maintaining the status quo, and who can bring real rigour to a fast-growing group.

The Group CEO leads the Weeroona Group, spearheading the transition to a new structure of multiple entities within the Weeroona group. You'll hold accountability for service quality, financial sustainability, regulatory standing and the group's growth, reporting to the Weeroona Group Ltd Board.

● Set and drive an ambitious group strategy, and turn it into clear plans across each entity

● Champion the quality and safety of every service the group delivers

● Lead a genuine diversification agenda: new income streams, new grants and new programs

● Identify and lead the group into new service areas as it grows

● Build a high-performing executive team capable of operating at group scale

● Report to and work closely with the Weeroona Group Ltd Board

● Represent Weeroona Group to funders, government, partners and the community

● Significant senior executive or group CEO experience, with full P&L and operational accountability at genuine scale, ideally in disability, community, health or human services

● A demonstrated track record leading organisational transformation, growth or diversification, not just steady-state operations

● Sophisticated commercial and strategic acumen, with real appetite for innovation and new venture development

● A genuine track record of working with, and reporting to, a board

● Strong financial capability across budgeting, cash management and service viability

● Deep working knowledge of the NDIS regulatory environment

● Demonstrated safeguarding and incident management capability

● Values-based, rights-based leadership

Desirable: experience leading a multi-entity or group structure, a Company Directors Course or equivalent governance qualification, and familiarity with the NFP and disability sectors.

● Current NDIS Worker Screening clearance

● Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

● National Criminal History Check

● Not disqualified from managing a corporation under the Corporations Act 2001, nor from being a Responsible Person by the ACNC Commissioner

● Current open Queensland driver licence, with regular travel across the group's service footprint

● A genuine seat at the table: report directly to the Group Board and shape the strategy of a growing regional charity

● Real breadth, spanning disability supports, child and family services, and community programs under one roof
